RSVP.com.au
www.rsvp.com.au brings
all of the features of traditional personal advertisements to the web.
You can place a detailed personal profile of
yourself, featuring searchable details such as:
• location
• height
• type of relationship you're looking for
• star sign!
Once you've narrowed down the potential profiles to review, you can
browse through them in full. If you find someone interesting you
can contact them using the anonymous email feature. RSVP.com.au also
has extra features not available through traditional personal advertisements.
You can:
• conduct two-way searches - only returning profiles to you
if the person meets your criteria and you meet theirs!
• find people using the Cupid function. Cupid automatically
checks all new members at the end of each day to see if someone new
who
suits you has joined the service. If Cupid finds someone for you,
RSVP.com.au will let you know via email.
Why use RSVP.com.au?

ways of meeting people (such as newspaper personals, bars, clubs or
accidental
meetings).

• Inexpensive - Check out the RSVP stamp rates and see how
little it costs to meet someone new.
• Safe - RSVP.com.au is safe because you can get to know someone
anonymously before you need to give out personal details such as
your address,
phone number or even your name.
• Fast - No need to write or wait for old fashioned letters. Your
responses are carried via email which means they're received within
minutes in most cases.
• Convenient - You can access www.rsvp.com.au from your home,
your office pc, a friend's house - anywhere where you can get access
to
the world
wide web. Also, you don't need to get dressed up, find parking or
waste time waiting for people - you can meet people from the comfort
and privacy of your own home or office.
How do I use RSVP?
As a guest, you can explore the site to see what they have
to offer and also have a look through the profiles of other members.
Use
the
navigation panel at the left to move about the site.
• Sign Up is where you can join the service as a full member - most
members will use this option after trying a Free Trial.
• The Search screen lets you tell RSVP.com.au what type of
people you're interested in and then they check the database and
show you
the profiles of anyone who matches your criteria.
• Profile is where you enter your information so that other
members can find you! As a guest, you won't be able to store this
information
(though you can if you're on a Free Trial), but you can get an idea
of the sort of information that RSVP.com.au ask members for.
• Cupid is where you tell RSVP.com.au the sort of person you're
looking for generally. They'll use this information to search
through the new members every day, just in case someone joins who
fits your
preferences. If they do, they'll send you an email letting you know.
This way you
don't even have to log in to RSVP.com.au to keep up to date.
How much does it cost to use RSVP?
It is FREE to register your profile with RSVP.com.au and load
a photo. You can start easily by doing this and see if anyone contacts
you. It is also FREE to send RSVP kisses. If you've found someone you
are interested in, you can try sending them a kiss. You can't include
any message of your own with the kiss, and they will have to pay
to contact you back. If you have found someone you really want to
communicate with, you can send RSVP anonymous email. Just like a letter
or postcard, each email needs a stamp, so RSVP members need to purchase
stamps to send anonymous email. But remember,
RSVP.com.au stamps include a FREE reply so the member you contacted
can reply without needing to use a stamp of their own.
RSVP.com.au Ideal Partner Profile
You can use this area to enter
information about the kind of person you would like to meet through
RSVP. Completing this section has
a number of advantages:
• Its displayed on your profile, so other members can see what kind
of person you are looking for;
• It automatically fills in your ideal criteria in the Full Search
and Two Way Search screens.
• You must have an ideal partner profile completed to use the Cupid
function, which delivers potential ideal matches right to your inbox.
• To complete or update your ideal partner profile, log on to RSVP,
click the 'My Profile' section and select the 'Ideal Partner' tab.
RSVP.com.au Stamps
Stamps are the RSVP currency. RSVP stamps are mostly used by members
to contact other members they are interested in. Just like a letter
or postcard, each email needs a stamp, so RSVP members need to purchase
stamps to send anonymous email. RSVP stamps include one FREE reply
so the member you contacted can reply without needing to use a stamp
of their own, but if you send a second email to the same member through
the RSVP system, it will cost a second stamp. You cannot include
personal information on your RSVP profile, but you can include
any details
you like in a stamped RSVP email, including
your personal email address, ICQ number or mobile phone number.
RSVP Search
Name Search
If you know the RSVPname of the person you are interested
in (eg they have sent you an introductory email and you're interested
in
viewing their profile), you can enter it when you click on the 'RSVPname'
tab located in the Search section). If you've entered a valid RSVPname,
you'll be taken to that member's full profile. (If that member has
hidden their profile, it will not appear.)
Quick Search
This is the fastest way to find people on www.rsvp.com.au. You only
need to select the gender, age range and location that suits you.
You can
also select whether you want a smoker or non-smoker, and someone
with or without children. The number of results will depend on the
criteria you specify, however, the Quick Search will usually give
you a large number of results.
Full Search
The Full Search allows you to be quite specific about
the types of people you're looking for. For example, you can specify
personal
characteristics such as height, body type and, hair and eye colors.
If you don't get many matches, it may be that you've been a bit too
specific in your criteria!
If you have set up your ideal partner profile, and you are logged
on, the Full Search screen will automatically fill in the details
of your ideal partner ready for you to start searching. Of course,
you can change any or all of these details if you wish.
Two Way Search
Like the Full Search, the Two-Way Search lets you specify a range
of search criteria. However, it also checks each match it finds against
your profile, to ensure that you suit them. For example, if you are
28 years old and looking for someone between 25 and 30, and the search
finds someone who is 27 but who is looking for someone over 30, a
Full Search would return this person's details to you, but a Two-Way
Search would not (because you are too young for them). If you have
set up your ideal partner profile, and you are logged on, the Two-Way
Search screen will automatically fill in the details
of your ideal partner ready for you to start searching. Of course
you can change any or all of these details if you wish. If you like
the Two-Way Search results you achieve, you may also want to set
up Cupid so that future matches are conveniently delivered
to your inbox by email.
TOP 100
The Top 100 list shows RSVP.com.au most wanted members. The lists
are refreshed every day. To be included, profiles must satisfy
certain
criteria such as;
• they must have a visible photo;
• they must have selected that they want to be in the Top 100;
• they must have received a certain amount of contact; and
• they must have an acceptable response rate to contacts received.
Cupid
The RSVP Cupid function makes it even easier to find suitable new
people for you to meet RSVP.com.au Cupid uses the information you
enter in your ideal partner profile to do a daily check of new
members
for a potential match
for you. If they find a match, they'll send you an email
with the person's RSVPname, the headline on their profile and a link
to their RSVP profile so you can check out their complete profile.
RSVP Kisses
An RSVP Kiss is a short form message you can send to another member
to let them know that you're interested. You can also select choose
to include one of the standard messages to be sent with the Kiss.
The Kiss includes a link to your profile so the other member can
find out about you. It also includes auto-replies so they can respond
to you indicating their level of interest. RSVP.com.au kisses are
free, so its a good idea to send them first. That way you know from
the
reply
whether someone is interested in you
before you spend your RSVP stamps.
Email
If you have found someone you really want to communicate with, you
can send an RSVP.com.au anonymous email. Just like a letter or postcard
needs a stamp to send through the post, each RSVP email needs a
stamp. RSVP members need to purchase
stamps to send anonymous email. RSVP stamps include one FREE reply
so the member you contacted can reply without needing to use a
stamp of their own, but if you send
a second email to the same member through the RSVP system, it will
cost a second stamp. You cannot include personal information in your
RSVP profile, but you can include any details you like in a stamped
RSVP email, including
your personal email address, ICQ number or mobile phone number.
Voicemail
RSVP.com.au voicemail service allows members to listen to each others
voices and leave messages for them. Every time someone leaves you
a V-mail you will be sent an email from RSVP telling you that there
is a special voice message waiting for you! The Voicemail service
uses 1902 numbers which are charged at premium rates.
Keeping Track of Contacts
RSVP.com.au helps you to keep track of your contacts through the
'My Contacts' section. You can:
• keep track of the emails and kisses you have sent and received;
•block certain RSVP members from contacting you;
• add or delete members to your favorites list; and
• include your own personal notes about certain members.
