How do I find the profiles of members I'm interested in?
To search through all the glimpse.com members at the
site, first you should go to preferences where you can customize
your search by choosing the characteristics of the type
of
people you'd like to meet. You can choose things like gender,
height, education, religion, ethnicity, smoking and drinking
habits, location, distance from your home, etc. Once you've
selected the type of people you'd like to meet, go to search
at the top of any www.glimpse.com page and see your potential
matches. Click on any name to view a full profile.
How do I contact someone that interests me?
Your free membership allows you to send a tease or reply
to any email or instant message someone sends you. If you'd
like to send an initial introductory email or instant message,
you need to subscribe to upgrade your glimpse.com membership.
Once you've
upgraded your membership, there are two ways to contact other
glimpse.com members. You can send an email. This allows
you to write a brief note telling about yourself and commenting
on why you're interested. You can go to either Who's Online,
your search list or the person's profile and click. If the
person is online, you can send an instant message and start
a conversation in real-time.
How can I see who has contacted me?
All notes from other glimpse.com members go straight
into your Inbox on the site and are kept there unless you
choose to delete them. To read any note, simply login to
the site and go to your Inbox. Then,
from each member's note, you can click straight through to
their profile to check them out. Also, every time you get
a new note in your Inbox, you also receive an email in your
personal email address to
let you know it's there. In addition, you can see a list
of all the members who have contacted you in your hot lists.
How can I see who I have contacted?
All notes that you send are kept in the "Sent" section
of your glimpse.com message center until you choose to delete
them.

How can I decline contact?
If you are not interested in a member who wrote to you, you
can send a friendly "decline contact." To decline
contact, click "decline" in the note you received
from the member and then pick one of the prepared answers
or write your own. You will retain complete anonymity.
What is members online?
Members Online shows you the glimpse.com members that
are logged onto the site at any given moment. Women's usernames
are in red and men's are in blue. What's great is that if
someone catches your eye, you can send an instant message
and start up a real time conversation. To send an instant
message you need to subscribe to upgrade your membership,
but you can reply to any instant message with your free
membership.
What if I want to contact someone who isn't online?
If someone isn't online, you can send an email. Click
on your search list or in the profile and write a note.
The
member will receive an email from you in their onsite message
