How do I communicate with other members?
There are 4 ways that you can contact other members on dreamdates.com.
In the order of effectiveness they are:
1. By Set-Up-a-Virtual-Date™. To use this method, just
go to the Profile page of the member you have selected, click
on the "Set up a Virtual Date" button. In the page
that shows up next select the date & time that you want to
meet this member with a brief message to send along. The other
member will then receive your message and upon accepting it,
you and the other member can meet at the designated date and
time via dreamdates.com's exclusive Set-Up-a-Virtual-Date™ and
Click2Talk™ features in a private room, via either text
chat or Voice communication if you have voice equipment (Speakers & Mics)
available. You can be either free or full member to Set-Up-a-Virtual-Date™ but
only full members can Click2talk™ and engage in Voice communication.
2. By visiting Who is Online (Click2talk™ feature) and
clicking to talk instantly Live with the dreamdate members that
are listed online. This communication can be in your own actual
Voices
or
via text chat. You must be a full Dreamdates member to take advantage
of this feature.
3. By clicking on "Send Detailed Message" from the
members bio page, in which case you will be able to send them
a detailed text message. You must be a full member to take advantage
of this feature. You can also use this feature by purchasing
message Tokens. As a full dreamdates member you have unlimited
ability to send messages, as a Token holder you need one Token
for each
message sent or read.
4. By going to a members Profile page and clicking on Indicate
Interest and then selecting a quick message to send to the this
member. You can be either a free or full member of dreamdates.com
to take advantage of this feature.
Do you monitor and screen the members?
Dreamdates.com do occasional screening of the members' photos
and Bios and if we find offensive and harassing material they
will then
alert
that member and if they do not correct their action, then dreamdates.com
will delete the offensive material. However this is a site
for ages 18 and over so you should be careful about whom you
contact and we recommend never giving your email address out
but communicating through dreamdates.com's own messaging system.
When a member sends me a text message (email) do I get that in my own email
address?
No, to ensure member privacy all messages are received in the member's private
Message board. You can send and receive messages from your private message
board. To access your message board log into your account, click on Messages
Manager and proceed to read your emails and reply to them.
How do I contact other members as a free member?
By going to a members Profile page and clicking on Indicate Interest and then
selecting a quick message to send to the this member.
